The Mount Dora Center for the Arts will be hosting a new exhibit, “Sutra” from local artist Yatin Patel. The exhibit will be open to the public through June 7 during regular Mount Dora Center for the Arts hours.
Patel’s fine art photography collection features snapshots of India. “Sutra,” translated from ancient sanskrit means “a thread or line that holds elements together.” In this collection, Yatin reveals the beautiful textural fibers that are woven into the environments of present-day urban India, evocative of its ancient society and civilization at large.
As a believer in giving back to society, all of Patel’s artwork is done for charity. 100 percent of proceeds from the Mount Dora Center for the Arts exhibit will go back to the organization.
